On February 7, an unidentified woman boarded an American Airlines flight from Nashville to Los Angeles without a boarding pass or identification. According to a report from The Independent, the woman evaded airport security measures by jumping a barrier at a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint. The security breach was only discovered en route, prompting American Airlines to detain the passenger upon arrival in Los Angeles. Both the airline and TSA are cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation. The TSA confirmed that the woman and her belongings were screened before boarding the flight, but this incident is not the first of its kind in recent times.
