New Delhi, Auto Desk. Vehicle manufacturer MG Motor is looking to increase the portfolio of its popular Hector SUV. For this, the company has recently registered two variants. These variants are known as Hector and Hector Plus EX. Also, both variants will be brought with a turbocharged motor.
What will be the features of the new Hector variants?
Talking about the features list, both variants of Hector will be given a chrome grille, front and rear skid plates, and steel wheels with wheel caps. For lighting features, halogen projector headlamps, and LED DRLs can be seen. It will also include ORVMs with turn indicators, roof rails, rear spoiler, and micro-type shark fin antenna.
The cabin of Hector and Hector Plus EX
The cabin of both these variants has been made quite feature full and comfortable. It gets remote keyless entry, adjustable headrest, welcome light on car unlock, rear wiper, and washer to give comfort and convenience to the driver. In terms of cabin features, the Hector Style EX variant gets fabric seats and synthetic leather door armrests. On its dashboard, you can find a 3.5-inch multi-information display, a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and cruise control. Apart from this, front and rear reading lights, manual auto AC, power adjustable ORVMs, tilt adjustable steering, and rear are also expected to be found.
Powertrain of the new Hector variants
There is no information on the powertrain of MG Hector and Hector Plus EX at the moment, but it is expected that they can be given the same engine as the current model. In the current model, it gets a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine, and 2.0-liter diesel engine option. These three engines come with 141hp and 167hp power respectively.
New Hector Facelift model coming soon
For information, let us tell you that MG is also going to bring the new Hector Facelift model soon, it is being said that it can be launched in the festive season. Its specialty is that it can be linked to Level 2 ADAS features in addition to many cosmetic updates. It is estimated that it can be brought between Rs 17 lakh to 26 lakh.
