The Punjab government has changed the working hours of markets, markets, and shopping malls since Eid-ul-Fitr ended yesterday.

Punjab Commerce Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal said that the opening hours of markets and shopping malls across the province were rescheduled from 9 am to 5 pm yesterday.

It is to be noted that on the arrival of Eid-ul-Fitr, the opening hours of markets and shopping malls were extended by 10 pm by the provincial government.

Punjab Commerce Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal said that the medical stores would be open 24 hours a day.

He said that it was permitted to open markets and shopping malls till 10 pm on Eid day.

The provincial minister said that confectionery shops would be open from 9 am to 7 pm.

Mian Aslam Iqbal said that the decision on whether or not to tighten the lockout would be taken by a committee consisting of experts from the federation and the provinces.
