The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released a list of central contracts with men’s cricketers. The contract is valid from July 2022 to June 2023. Separate contracts have been made for the white and red ball formats. This time, the number of contracted cricketers has increased from 20 to 33.

Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been placed in the highest category of the deal. Shadab Khan and Fakhar Zaman are with these three cricketers in the ‘A’ category of the white ball. Their teammate Azhar Ali is in the same category as Lal.

Imam-ul-Haq and Haris Rauf are in the ‘B’ category of the white ball. Hasan Ali, Mohammad Newaz in the ‘C’ category and Haider Ali, Shahnewaz Dahani, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, Usman Qadir, and Zahid Mahmood in the ‘D’ category. Hasan Ali and Fawad Alam placed in the ‘B’ red ball category. Imam-ul-Haq, Nasim Shah, Numan Ali, and Abdullah Shafiq are in the ‘C’ category, and Yasir Shah, Abid Ali, Shan Masood, Saud Shakil, and Sarfaraz Ahmed are in the ‘D’ category.

In addition, Salman Ali Aga, Hasibullah, Mohammad Hurairah, Ali Usman, Kamran Ghulam, Qasim Akram, and Mohammad Haris are in the emerging category.

Fahim Ashraf and Mohammad Hasnain were dropped from the central contract after they were banned for faulty bowling action. Shan Masood, Nasim Shah, and Haider Ali, who were absent last year, have returned to the contract.
